This is one of our busiest weeks yet. Celebrations for International Working Women's Day, the Finding a Voice festival brings music by women composers through the ages, new bands from all over Tipperary gather for the Battle of the Bands competition. Lectures, classes, workshops, social clubs, sports, music sessions, there is so much to do this week that we had to redesign the guide to fit 88 events in only 4 pages. We hope you like it!

Issue #27

This week marks 6 months since the first issue of What’s On Clonmel, a small idea that quickly grew thanks to the enthusiastic support from the community.

To celebrate, and to raise much needed funds to cover our printing costs, we are putting together a fundraiser party with many surprises. Stay tuned for details!

Issue #26

This week is one for the local history enthusiasts!

We mark the 200 year anniversary of Clonmel's mysterious, star-crossed lovers, Anna Grubb and Frederick Close, along with an exhibition and talk on the town's Quaker history. There's multiple art exhibitions, an ever-increasing selection of classes, and live music all week.

And don't forget, the launch of Battle of the Bands is this Sunday! Get your applications in by Friday 20th to be in with a chance.

This is a very exciting week for music in Clonmel: the Community Choir is back into rehearsals, Uproar Choir is doing pop-up performances around town, there is a pilot trad session in The Coachman, in Gleeson's Platform 5 debuts as a new monthly showcase of original music, and things are heating up for the Battle of the Bands...

With 73 events this week, there are no excuses to be bored in Clonmel!

The snowdrops are up, the days are starting to stretch, and springtime is just around the corner.

This week, why not shake off the winter sluggishness and check out something new? Try your hand at an art workshop, get back into exercise with dance, Parkruns or a mountain walk, or brush up your Gaeilge in cheery company.
